BMW M Laptimer - Video Recording Feature

BMW M Laptimer, is an app for data analysis on racetracks around the world. It automatically records lap times and other data, such as the exact position of the accelerator pedal or the speed driven, along with the associated G-forces. To do this, the BMW M Laptimer draws on sensor data that is recorded directly from vehicle. The app analyses this data and provides the basis for detailed improvements for users.

About Video Recording Feature
Video Recording feature is 2020 biggest release, the main goal of this feature is to give users the possibility to record video sessions using their own iPhones, M Laptimer receives real-time performance car data directly from vehicle and transform it into a dynamic overlay over the recorded video, once video session is finished, users can watch, analyse and compare with others or simply share it with friends or on social media.

Once vehicle and Iphone are connected by bluetooth, users can initiate a video recording session by following few steps to setup, safely mount the iPhone and finally press "Start Recording" on his vehicle.
